Also nice but I'm not a fan of motto bikes.

I bought the car with 175k km. meanwhile I have 204k.
The car had only one previous owner and he had the car in the garage.

I think that's why the paint is still in top condition :))

as long as you change the oil often and filter, and air filter 204k is not that high ... i used to an old VW polo, it had done 145 thousand miles and still never missed a beat, used no oil at all and had a very quiet engine...you know what they say 90% of all engine wear is done in the first 5 minutes from starting it cold..and yes the sun kills paint work.. that's why I keep my bike in the shed at all times only get it out to ride and service and all other times its in the dark poor thing...i do all the work on it my self as motorbike mechanics in UK are a rip off :(

sun also destroys plastics in time and hardens and breaks wires. though I bet the weather proofing on German BMW's is ALOT better than what the japs do with motorbikes they don't weatherproof them for UK or European weather at all.

Yes that's true.

a lot of paint care polish etc helps :)

But in the near future it will be time for a new car :D

i always used turtle wax, the wipe on wait a wee bit then wipe off stuff.. that seems to work well but with rubbing it can come off and of course with rain.. i wouldnt get rid of your car until the engine is knackered... i personally couldnt give a shit what kind of car i drive as long as i turn the key and it gos :)
