What happend to the TF2 servers?

I make 6 bot accounts to farm drops recently and I wonder why every saigns TF2 servers got shutdown.

Used to play since 2012 and I am worried for a bit why there isn't a server available

Due to low levels of interest/players, but excessive resource usage, SGN decided to take them down for now.
