Counter strike source ranking reset

Hi. I wanted to suggest resetting the player rankings maybe once a year. For new players to the server it might give them hope they can reach the highest ranks. What's the point of having the number one player have the worst stats? They played on the sever for years and accumulate points as a result but have crap kill to death ratios and in general are not really skilled. I say this coming from a perspective of being number two on dm Italy. I'm light years ahead of everyone except one guy who happened to play on the server before me. I could catch and surpass him if I played every minute of the day but i have a life too.
