Any chances to bring CSGO casual servers back?
I used to play on your servers back on November 2013 on my older account such as casual dust2 and 1 hour deathmatch and it was quite fun. Sadly since those servers are not available I wonder if is possible if staff to bring it back such as casual, deathmach, maybe adding some 1v1 arenas servers or awp servers.
As long we have "skin changer server plugin" and some extra custom features so we can customize "our stuff" on the server, such as skins, hats, etc.
Many servers are alive because of that and people usually pay for those "server microtransactions", wonder if the staff can do it again by bring the servers back.
best regards.

Hey Snipota
The servers used to be visited regularly and over time it became less and less and therefore there are no more servers online.
I personally think it's a pity too, but there's nothing you can do, I'm sorry
Best regards :)

I spoke to the owner a while ago about reactivating CS:GO servers. We were already in agreement that the need and the response for it should now be greater than it was then.
Unfortunately, this has so far only remained a thought.
But I'll address it again and then we'll see what the future brings.
Of course I can't promise anything at this point.

Not the case.
CSS is still VERY popular..I'd far rather play 1.6 or CSS than CS:GO
CS:GO is all show but game play isn't anywhere near as good as the older versions....
I wouldn't play CS:GO if it was the only FPS on the market I'd rather play chess lol

I dont think cs source is popular because cs source have like 4,635 players according to steam db (most players play on zombie escape servers such as unloze, etc), cs 1.6 have a larger playerbase (around 11,973 people according to steam db (nosteam no idea but I think it have more players but only for UGC servers), but it's alive duo zombie escape servers and fastcup pugs meanwhile CSGO have like 700000 people according to steamdb. Some of them plays comp but it's broken duo the griefing update and people mass report you so people are sticking to casual or deathmatch farming XP for service medals or playing community servers like zombie escape, 1v1 arenas and awp maps. Those servers by the same owner as far as I know a well known community are full.
I like both games (css and 1.6), spent almost 10k hours each games, but the community server community are worse than csgo's community servers. In competitive scene source and 1.6 are better than go, but community servers are worse.
Might be wrong tho, feel free to correct me.

The Steam DB does give those kinds of numbers, but let's consider the numbers here in comparison.....
I haven't been checking the number of CSS players here all day everyday, but they do peak. It is common for there to be around 126 players. Let's say that the peak is only 130, in that case that would account for >2.8% of all CSS players globally in the Steam DB.
That's a pretty impressive percentage. It's not like real life, you get to respawn and try again!
