It´s beyond me why I am turned away despite clear evidence that he is griefing. If you would check the logs (not only today) he always does it when I happen to be online.


Why should I play on another server just because he´s constantly griefing me and you can't get it under control? That's hardly my fault. I have no idea what Starik's problem with me is, but I don't see why I should play somewhere else because of HIS rule violations. That's completely unjustified. He only does it to me, so that alone is a dead giveaway that he is doing it with griefing intentions. Or does anyone here want to tell me that his constant relogs and teamswitch "issues" are pure coincidence? Come on.

And unlike him I pay for premium, while all his "contribution" is depraving me of game fun. Very fair indeed!

It hadn't violated a rule, there is no rule against reconnecting. The logs show that he plays for a few minutes or rounds and reconnects. A lot of players do this on the other servers too.

There are other claimants in this, so I am not seeing how anything he does is targeting you. And in the absence of any evidence of that harassment of you, we have no grounds to act.

I spent quite some time on the militia server this afternoon and watched what he does. He did indeed reconnect quite a few times, in the middle of playing (not when he was the last player or anything). At one time he did it 3 times in as many seconds, but that was it. It could well be that the reconnects are actually involuntary.

I did not see him harassing anyone. Unless we witness that, or see clear evidence of that, then no rule has been broken and we cannot act. Please try to ignore what seems to be annoying you so much.

I throw my two cents here, but i think the reconnect thing might become a real issue when its used to spam the chat. Normally reconnecting and team switching is allowed based on rules

There is loss of connection, no server issue, or whatever. Otherwise the reason wouldn´t be "disconnect by user".

However, he does it so he can force me to swap teams since I refuse to play in the same team he does, because he constantly fucks up the balance on the server - something which is already somewhat of a challenge to master.

I wouldn't surmise as to what the cause might be, but involuntary disconnects have always been a thing with CSS (and not always with a valid reason shown in the logs). My observation in no way substantiated your repeated claims.

Please focus on all the constant relogs he does - and if possible to change the spectator ancle, you will see that he always switches to the team I am in. Also reason he does it this way is because he used to manually swap teams - but if he´s alive it will cost him 1 death that counts towards his ranking.

I dont know if this is enough, but if not I will record even more. No problem.

Sure, it´s against the rules and thefore not okay - but you may also consider the situation I am in: He does this all the time to me and according to you I´m supposed to just tolerate it. If that´s the way you would sell a product, then congrats: Your company would go bankrupt.

There is a 20mb limit on file uploads here. Your demo really doesn't show anything of any meaning, in fact it seems he reconnected and rejoined the team he was already on. It seems he only likes to play on CTs..

It seems that your issue here is that you do not like the player and do not want to play on the same team as him, and you feel offended if he joins the team that you are on or reconnects to the server.

I understand your dislike, there are a lot us of who do not like some other player and will not want to play on the same team as them. Maybe he does do it to annoy you, but only you are in control of how you perceive or react to it. He still has not broken any rule, in fact the rules support his right to join any team he wishes to, and at any time. If he were doing it every few seconds, as he has done in the past, then yes we would look at acting upon that (as we have previously).

It's not so much a question of you tolerating it, but you could be the better person and ignore it. We have an expression here: the best way to get rid of a nasty rash is not to scratch it. In other words, you make it a thing if you react to it (and maybe you make it a thing for him to do just because he sees a reaction from you). Expecting us to sanction that is like expecting your local policeman in your local community to arrest someone who walks on the same side of the street as you, just because you do not like them doing it. There is no other action by Starik here that would support the notion of harassment.

The short demo also doesnt show much indeed, though I only learned now that there´s a file limit of 20MB for demos. I will consider this in the future and send more demos whenever possible, so you can see that there is malicious intent from his side.
Also got another demo, but it slightly has more than 20MB - it shows more of his relogs (including teamswitches - and everyone is just at the moment you cant join spectator anymore and have to suicide if you want to teamswitch) where he also griefes Helene by shooting spam shooting her in the head while she is aiming with auto-sniper rifle (it´s near the end of the demo).

Is there any way I can shorten the demo and post this part only?

My screenshots above precisely show exactly that: Reconnecting every few seconds. Basically spaming it. Look at the timings and the amounts. It´s not like he does it once every 10mins.
If you STRG+F on last day´s server log and type in Starik the whole logs glow and it´s almost completely due to his relog spams.
I honestly dont know how many more screenshots are required to prove this already proven fact lol.
