I'm seeing around the internet that the same solution is working for others

You can try and launch the old build (most servers are running old build still) by selecting the previous build from the beta tab and renaming the hl2.sh file to cstrike.sh and putting -game cstrike in launch options.

I re installed Steam, and activated previous build; and now I´m getting a download.

Edit: For some reason after activating previous build, no update started. This time it did, and now it works :)

But it´s too late for today. CYA tomorrow on dust 2 :)

You can all revert back to "None" in the Betas tab of your game Properties now. The servers have been updated. No other adjustments are needed. tF has managed to work around the initial issues, but if you have any complaints about game 'glitch' issues please contact Steam support or post in their own community forum about it - https://steamcommunity.com/app/240/e...57760961693407

Hi, I reverted back but the smoke hack still doesn´t seem to work (on other servers, outside of saigns, as well). Is there a way to solve this?

I only know of this one though.
